Over the Ocean

Working as part of a large team, I supported the artist Kingsley Ng in creating the instillation peace Over the Ocean, for the 2017 Hong Kong Lumieres Festival. I joined the team to support the RaspberryPi computer vision that tracked candles on boats (the position of the boats changed the notes played in the music). First my software corrected the fish-eye distortion to more accurately measure positions of boats. Next each RaspberryPi needed to communicate the positions it saw. I also used the software to support the positioning and calibration of the cameras.
